에메랄드 풀(현지에서는 사 모라콧으로 불림)은 크라비 정글 속에 숨겨진 에메랄드빛 바닷물을 자랑하는 천연 수영 명소입니다. 카오프라방크람 자연보호구역 내에 위치한 이 자연의 경이로움은 연중 내내 지역 전역에서 방문객을 끌어모읍니다.

The Emerald Pool itself spans roughly 20 metres wide and reaches one to two metres deep. The distinctive colour comes from high limestone and mineral content in the water, which locals believe offers therapeutic benefits. The rocks around the pool are extremely slippery, so wear water shoes or sandals with good grip. Two walking routes lead from the entrance. The shorter path covers 800 metres and connects directly to the pool. The longer scenic route stretches 1.4 kilometres through a raised jungle boardwalk with streams and tropical vegetation. Most visitors prefer the longer route as it feels less crowded and more immersive.

Blue Pool and Beyond

Continuing 400 metres past Emerald Pool leads to the Blue Pool, a striking sapphire-blue natural spring fed by underground hot springs. Swimming is strictly prohibited here due to quicksand and temperature variations. The Blue Pool closes from May to October during the Gurney’s Pitta breeding season.

Access and Opening Times

The park opens from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm daily. Entry costs 400 Baht for foreign adults and 200 Baht for children. Thai nationals pay 30 Baht for adults and 20 Baht for children. The park sits roughly 60 kilometres from Krabi Town, about a one-hour drive, or approximately 90 minutes from Ao Nang. Parking costs 30 Baht for cars and 20 Baht for motorbikes.
